Technical Project Manager – Southampton / Kidlington (Hybrid, 2–3 days on site)
Day Rate: £450/day | Contract: 12 months (Outside IR35)
We are looking for a highly skilled Technical Project Manager to lead complex ICT projects across multiple sites for the Forces. This role is ideal for candidates with experience managing ICT projects in large-scale office relocations, building fit-outs, and infrastructure deployments. You will ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with business objectives, while coordinating across multiple ICT disciplines including Architecture, Infrastructure, Security, and Service Delivery.
What You’ll Do:

You will ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with business objectives, while coordinating across multiple ICT disciplines including Architecture, Infrastructure, Security, and Service Delivery.
What You’ll Do:
- Plan, manage, and deliver ICT projects, including relocations, re-stacks, new office deployments, and system transitions.
- Work with project boards, business managers, and senior stakeholders to ensure clarity on deliverables, progress, and risks.
- Manage suppliers and external contractors to achieve project outcomes efficiently.
- Oversee ICT change testing, documentation, and training to ensure smooth operational handover.
- Maintain project plans, RAID logs, budgets, and resource allocation across teams.
- Travel to multiple sites as required, including Southampton, Fareham, and other Hampshire locations.
- Proven ICT Project Management experience using PRINCE2 or equivalent methodology.
- Expertise in ICT components of office moves and building relocations.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with experience influencing senior executives.
- Knowledge of IT architecture, networks, cloud technologies, and infrastructure.
- Ability to manage projects independently with minimal supervision.
- Full UK driving licence for site travel.
- Flexible hybrid working (2–3 days on-site most weeks).
