Are you a qualified and experienced Social Worker looking to make a real difference in the lives of children and families? Cornwall Council is seeking a dedicated individual to join their Child Protection Team in Camborne for an initial 12-week contract, with the possibility of extension.

Are you a qualified and experienced Social Worker looking to make a real difference in the lives of children and families? Cornwall Council is seeking a dedicated individual to join their Child Protection Team in Camborne for an initial 12-week contract, with the possibility of extension.
Candidate Responsibilities:
- Hold child protection cases and chair multi-agency core group meetings
- Complete and present reports within the child protection arena using Signs of Safety approach
- Undertake s.47 enquiries and complete child protection investigations and reports
- Write court reports and present evidence in court
- Cover duty work and have experience in child protection, court work, and child in care work
- Knowledge/use of Signs of Safety and MOSAIC system is an advantage
- Have own transport and be willing to travel across Cornwall
