Working on behalf of a nationwide Children's EBD home company, we are looking for a passionate, commited and enthusiastic registered manager to lead a 6-bed EBD home in Wisbech currently supporting 5 young children. This is more than a management role — it’s an opportunity to shape lives, build futures, and lead a dedicated team with integrity and heart.
Your Role as Registered Manager:

- Provide inspirational leadership that delivers outstanding, child-centred, therapeutic care.
- Be a strong advocate for children and staff, building a safe, nurturing home where aspirations are celebrated.
- Create a resilient, inclusive culture where young people feel heard, supported, and empowered.
- Oversee all operational aspects of the home: safeguarding, care planning, compliance, staff supervision, training, and development.
- Lead on budget management, service development, and continuous improvement strategies.
- Support and mentor your team, including facilitating the QCF Level 3 qualification for care staff.
- Maintain full regulatory compliance in line with Ofsted, The Children Act 1989, and Children’s Homes Regulations.
- 3+ years’ experience working at a senior level in a children’s residential care environment.
- Level 3 or 4 Diploma in Children and Young People’s Workforce.
- Level 5 Diploma (or working towards) in Leadership for Health and Social Care (Children and Young People’s Management).
- In-depth understanding of safeguarding, legislation, and compliance standards within children’s residential care.
- Proven experience in budgeting, financial management, and strategic leadership.
- Passionate about improving children’s lives and achieving positive, long-lasting outcomes.
- Full UK driving licence and flexibility to carry out on-call duties as required.
