Principal Adult Social Care Solicitor

Service Care Solutions is working alongside a forward-thinking local authority, based in Northampton, which is seeking a Principal Adult Social Care Solicitor to join their team and make a real difference to the community.
 
Salary: £55,036 – £58,879 per annum
Hours: Full Time, 37 hours per week
Location: Northampton (with flexible/agile working)
 
Key responsibilities of the Principal Adult Social Care Solicitor role:

• Provide specialist legal advice and representation on complex adult social care cases.
• Support and deputise for the Head of Legal (People) when required.
• Work closely with senior officers, elected councillors, committees and partners.
• Champion service transformation, digital innovation and income generation opportunities.

Must have criteria:

• 5+ years of PQE in Adult Social Care Law in England and Wales (hold a current practicing certificate).
• Strong communication, influencing and research skills.
• The ability to work flexibly and under pressure, delivering to deadlines.
• Experience of managing and developing people and resources (desirable).
