A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Neighbourhood Manager to join a leading Housing Association in Walthamstow on a temporary 3-month basis. This is a key frontline role providing excellent housing management services, ensuring safe, compliant, and thriving communities for residents. This role offers hybrid working with 3 days patch based and 2 days working from home or office. THE ROLE
As a Neighbourhood Manager, you will be the face of the Housing Association within local communities, delivering high-quality housing management and customer-focused services to residents. You will be responsible for ensuring properties are safe, neighbourhoods are well-managed, and residents are supported.
Key Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will have previous experience in a Neighbourhood or Housing Officer role, with strong housing management knowledge and a proven track record in delivering customer-focused services.
Requirements:
Working Hours: Full Time Monday–Friday
Length of Contract: 3 Month Contract, Temporary
Rate: The pay for the role is £27.08 per hour LTD company rate. The PAYE equivalent is £23.24 per hour, inclusive of holiday. HOW TO APPLY

- Deliver excellent housing management services and ensure tenancy compliance.
- Provide a flexible, face-to-face service, resolving resident issues quickly and effectively.
- Carry out welcome visits to new tenants and support vulnerable customers.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams and external agencies to improve neighbourhoods.
- Promote resident involvement through meetings, feedback, and community engagement.
- Prepare evidence, issue Notices, and attend Court where legal action is required.
- Ensure accurate record-keeping, meeting performance targets and KPIs.
The successful candidate will have previous experience in a Neighbourhood or Housing Officer role, with strong housing management knowledge and a proven track record in delivering customer-focused services.
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of UK Housing Law relating to residential premises.
- Excellent relationship-building and networking skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage a varied workload effectively.
- Proven experience handling tenancy issues, ASB, and safeguarding concerns.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to meet deadlines and targets.
