A client within the Public Sector is currently recruiting for a Maintenance Surveyor to join their team as soon as possible. The client is offering a full time, temporary position on an ongoing basis with the ideal candidate having experience of working within a maintenance, refurbishment, or social housing environment.
The Role
Key purpose of the role is to manage contractors delivering maintenance and improvement works to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
• Managing contractors on site for projects such as roof works, new kitchens, fire doors, external wall insulation, and windows.
• Coordinating day-to-day maintenance and refurbishment activities.
• Supporting tenants through maintenance and improvement programmes.
• Providing technical advice and demonstrating strong knowledge of building maintenance and refurbishment.
• Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and regulatory requirements.
• Reporting progress and issues to senior management.
The Candidate
To be considered for this role you will require:
• Previous employment in a social housing or public sector maintenance environment.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
The client is looking to move quickly with this role and is offering £27 per hour Umbrella (~£21.60 per hour PAYE).

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
