Job: Painter – B Lower (Technical)
Location: North Tyneside
Hours: 37 Hours per Week, Monday to Friday
Salary: £18 per hour Are you an experienced Painter looking for a stable, rewarding role within the public sector?
We’re currently recruiting on behalf of a local authority for a skilled Painter to work across their housing stock, carrying out a range of painting and decorating duties to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities:

• Carrying out internal and external painting works on council housing properties
• Preparing surfaces, applying paints, stains, and other finishes
• Ensuring all work meets health and safety regulations
• Working as part of a wider repairs and maintenance team
• Providing excellent service to residents and stakeholders

Requirements:

• Proven experience in painting and decorating (domestic/social housing experience desirable)
• NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Painting & Decorating (preferred)
• Full UK Driving Licence (may be required depending on role specifics)
• Ability to work independently and manage workloads efficiently
• A commitment to quality and customer satisfaction
