Job title – Housing Performance and Systems Officer
Location – Lyndhurst, SO43 (Hybrid – 2 days per week remote working subject to operational needs)
Contract – Permanent
Hours – Full time 37 hours per week,  
Salary - £35,646 – £39,469 per annum

A forward-thinking housing provider is seeking an experienced Housing Performance and Systems Officer to join their performance and insight function. This role plays a vital part in supporting service delivery through system optimisation, performance reporting, and supporting the implementation of a new housing IT system.

This is a great opportunity for someone analytical and proactive, with experience in data management, project support, and system administration within a housing or public sector environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement SMART KPIs to measure and monitor service performance
  • Maintain and update Power BI dashboards and produce management reports
  • Support and train staff on the effective use of housing IT systems
  • Assist with the implementation of a new housing system, including testing, feedback, and liaison with suppliers
  • Collate and submit statutory data returns (e.g. CORE, NROSH, HCLIC, LAHS)
  • Deliver training to staff and lead user forums to improve system use and reporting standards
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation such as project plans, RAID logs, and highlight reports
  • Liaise with service leads, ICT, and suppliers to resolve system or data issues

Ideal Candidate Profile:
  • Strong understanding of housing data and performance frameworks
  • Excellent Excel and data analysis skills; confident with Power BI
  • Proven experience working with housing systems and delivering system improvements
  • Effective communicator with the ability to train and support staff
  • Ability to prioritise and manage workload across multiple tasks and stakeholders
  • Confident working independently and contributing to wider team initiatives
  • Experience supporting or leading housing-related IT system implementations
Desirable:
  • Working knowledge of Prince2 or similar methodologies
  • Experience using systems such as Uniclass, DRS, or Microsoft Project
  • Background in housing or regulated public sector environment
