Responsibilities
  • Manage property-related cases from creation through to completion, ensuring milestones are met, records maintained, and contractual obligations adhered to.
  • Support Surveyors in progressing cases, proactively overcoming barriers to enable repairs and improvements to take place.
  • Ensure all HHSRS cases (Awaab’s Law) are managed in line with legislation and completed within statutory timescales.
  • Liaise with internal teams, external contractors, and partners to ensure repairs are delivered in a timely and cost-effective manner.
  • Manage legal action where access is required for works, working closely with operational teams and the Decant Team to minimise disruption and cost.
  • Act as the dedicated point of contact for residents, investigating and resolving concerns throughout the duration of works.
  • Maintain accurate records across IT systems and manual systems to enable effective reporting and case tracking.
  • Support vulnerable tenants, making referrals to internal support services and the Decant Team where required.
  • Manage Aids & Adaptations requests in line with organisational policies.
Requirements
  • Experience in property case management, preferably within housing or public sector environments.
  • Knowledge of housing legislation, particularly in relation to disrepair and HHSRS (Awaab’s Law).

  • Experience working collaboratively with Surveyors, contractors, and internal departments.
  • Ability to manage sensitive cases and support residents requiring additional help.
