Disrepair Projects Case Manager – Housing Association
£18.84 PAYE / £24 Umbrella / Deemed LTD (Inside IR35)

We are currently recruiting for a Disrepair Projects Case Manager to join a Housing Association in West London. This role will focus on the effective case management of specialist property projects, including legal disrepair, Aids & Adaptations, HHSRS cases (Awaab’s Law), customer home improvement requests, and Latent Defects.

We are currently recruiting for a Disrepair Projects Case Manager to join a Housing Association in West London. This role will focus on the effective case management of specialist property projects, including legal disrepair, Aids & Adaptations, HHSRS cases (Awaab’s Law), customer home improvement requests, and Latent Defects.
Responsibilities
- Manage property-related cases from creation through to completion, ensuring milestones are met, records maintained, and contractual obligations adhered to.
- Support Surveyors in progressing cases, proactively overcoming barriers to enable repairs and improvements to take place.
- Ensure all HHSRS cases (Awaab’s Law) are managed in line with legislation and completed within statutory timescales.
- Liaise with internal teams, external contractors, and partners to ensure repairs are delivered in a timely and cost-effective manner.
- Manage legal action where access is required for works, working closely with operational teams and the Decant Team to minimise disruption and cost.
- Act as the dedicated point of contact for residents, investigating and resolving concerns throughout the duration of works.
- Maintain accurate records across IT systems and manual systems to enable effective reporting and case tracking.
- Support vulnerable tenants, making referrals to internal support services and the Decant Team where required.
- Manage Aids & Adaptations requests in line with organisational policies.
- Experience in property case management, preferably within housing or public sector environments.
- Knowledge of housing legislation, particularly in relation to disrepair and HHSRS (Awaab’s Law).
- Strong organisational and communication skills, with the ability to act as the main point of contact for residents.
- Experience working collaboratively with Surveyors, contractors, and internal departments.
- Ability to manage sensitive cases and support residents requiring additional help.
