Community psychiatric Nurse

Community Psychiatric Nurse – Older Adult Team – NHS – Bedford

Service Care Solutions are currently recruiting for a Community Psychiatric Nurse to join the Older Adult Team within the NHS, based in Bedford.

• Contract Length: Initially 3 months, with potential for extension
• Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm
• Location: Community-based role

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide mental health support to older adults in the community
• Conduct assessments and develop care plans
• Administer medication and monitor patient progress
• Liaise with families, carers, and multidisciplinary teams
• Contribute to safeguarding and care coordination

Requirements:

• Experience working with older adults in a mental health setting
• NMC registration
• Strong clinical and communication skills
