Job Title: Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurse
Location: Shrewsbury – NHS Community Mental Health Team
Contract Type: Temporary Agency
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm (37.5 hours/week)
Pay Rate:

• Umbrella: £26/hour
• PAYE: £20.93/hour

Job Overview: Service Care Solutions is currently recruiting for a Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurse to join an NHS team in Shrewsbury. This is a temporary agency contract offering full-time hours in a dynamic and supportive community mental health setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality mental health care to service users in the community.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualised care plans.
• Act as a care coordinator for a defined caseload.
• Deliver evidence-based interventions and monitor progress.
• Liaise with multidisciplinary teams, families, and external agencies.
• Participate in duty rota and respond to urgent mental health needs.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in line with NHS standards.

Requirements:

• Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with valid NMC registration.
• Minimum of 1 year’s experience in a community mental health setting.
• Strong assessment and risk management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle with business insurance.
