We are currently recruiting for a skilled and experienced Carpenter to join the Housing Operations team for a local authority. This role involves carrying out a wide range of construction and property maintenance tasks across council properties within the city boundary.

- Performing a variety of carpentry tasks and general property maintenance
- Working independently across different council housing sites
- Carrying out small works in other trade disciplines when required
- Liaising with residents, colleagues, and supervisors in a professional and respectful manner
- Ensuring all work is carried out safely, efficiently, and to a high standard
- Previous experience working for a housing association or local council is essential
- Strong carpentry skills and confidence in delivering multi-trade work
- Experience with UPVC installation and general property maintenance is advantageous
- Self-motivated, with strong communication and customer service skills
- A practical understanding of the construction and maintenance industry
