About the Role: Service Care Solutions is recruiting for a Learning & Development Business Support Officer to join Lincolnshire Police. This key role is central to the smooth and effective operation of the Learning & Development Department, providing high-quality business support to deliver essential training and development services to both internal staff and external stakeholders.
As the first point of contact for L&D services, you will work closely with a range of colleagues and external delivery teams to support the delivery of training, maintain records, and ensure compliance with GDPR and other relevant policies. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide business support to the L&D team, including arranging, administering, and scheduling training courses.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in relevant policing systems.
- Ensure all data processing adheres to GDPR standards, especially for personal information release requests.
- Raise and manage purchase orders and assist with budget reconciliation.
- Assist with the administration of exams and courses, and manage the training estate.
- Prepare performance and management information reports.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely information is provided.
- Support the planning, preparation, and delivery of L&D courses.
- Look for opportunities to improve L&D processes and contribute to continuous service improvements.
- Provide ad-hoc support across the L&D team as directed by the Business Support Manager.
- NVQ Level 2 in Business Administration or equivalent (or proven experience in a similar administrative role).
- Experience in administrative roles, with strong organisational skills.
- Proficient in data input and retrieval.
- Experience in a customer-focused environment, managing stakeholder expectations.
- Good communication skills (both verbal and written), with an ability to liaise at all levels.
- Competent in Microsoft Office and database software.
- Knowledge and understanding of diversity in the workplace and a customer-focused approach.
- A commitment to learning and development, both personal and for the organisation.
- High level of integrity when working with sensitive information.
- Experience working in HR or Learning & Development.
- Knowledge of HR functions or further relevant qualifications.
- Ability to speak confidently to customers at all levels.
